Pet and Animal Portraits
We would love to take your next pet portrait.Pets can be notoriously difficult to photograph in a formal setting. Glenn Potter Photography would love to take on this challenge for you. Wouldn't it be fantastic to have a formal framed or glass print of your prized pet hanging on your wall. Please contact us immediately to make a booking. Below is a portrait we took recently of Rufus - an extremely handsome English Springer Spaniel. His memory will be treasured for life in the beautiful glass print that his owner has now ordered from us!
Service and Pricing:
We will meet you at a pre-determined venue at a time convenient to you. There, we will spend a little bit of time playing with your pet and getting to know him or her a little better so that he or she can become a little more comfortable around us. We will then spend a little more time setting our equipment up. We have a flash of course but prefer not to use this as we find that the use of flash can upset the animals at times. Instead we prefer to use alternative non-flash techniques to lighten the subject. Once set up we will begin the actual shoot. We will take many photographs and then allow you to choose your favourite or favourites (all files available for viewing on this secure website).
Allow for at least one hour for a pet portrait session.
The following is included in our pet portrait package:
- One personal photographic session with Glenn Potter Photography as described above. All images corrected if necessary and one image identified as the very best and recommended to you for framing. Pet may be photographed with you the owner and/or by itself (as in the example below with Rufus).
- One beautiful 20cm x 30cm (8×12”) framed photograph with double matte (colours of your choice) and UV protection glass. High quality finishing from local professional Dunedin framers who insist on producing a quality finished product.
- Larger or smaller frames available on request - quote supplied on request.
Glass or canvas framing also available either on top of - or instead of framing. Quote supplied on request. Glass and canvas prints are cheaper than framing. - High res digital files supplied on USB drive.
Total investment = $495 (based on the 20cm x 30cm size photograph framing).
